왜미나리아재비(미나리아재비과)

들머리를 잘못 잡은 탓이었다.

산행기를 자세하게 읽고 지도를 찾아서 위치를 확인까지 했는데

출발 지점에서 큰길을 따라 가다가 산으로 향했던 걸 몰라서 바로 산으로 진입을 했기 때문이엇다.

 

골짜기로 들어가길래 계곡부에 있을 줄 알았는데 길은 엉뚱하게 진행되고 길도 없는 남쪽사면 능선으로 정상부를 향하고 있었다.

흔적이 희미한 등산로라 생각했던 토끼길같은 작은 길을 산짐승이 다니던 길이었고....

결국 옆으로 산허리를 치고 돌아서 원래의 등산로를 찾고서야 한참을 더 오르게 되었다.

 

일단 등산로를 따라 내려가면서 찾으면 되겠다 생각하고 갈림길에서 아래로 향하였다. 분명 내려가는 도중에 나타날 것 같은 예감이 든다 

북사면에 뒤늦게 피고 있는 얼레지에 잠시 시간을 허락하는데 조금 아래 너덜지대를 노랗게 덮고 있는 이 녀석을 발견하고는 다리가 풀려 버렸다.

 

8시 30분에 산행을 시작하여서 1시가 되어서 만났으니...착오도 이만 저만이 아니었다.

제대로 길을 들었다면 한 시간이면 족했던 걸 4시간을 넘게 헤메고 다닌 꼴이 되었다.

금방 만나리라 생각하고 먹을 것도 거의 안 챙기고 물 한 병 달랑 들고 올랐으니 배도 고프고 다리도 아프고.....

 

헌데 이 녀석이 개구리갓이라고 잘못 알려져서 그걸 확인하려고 이 고생을 한 것이다. 결국 왜미나리아재비였던 것을.
