가는기린초(돌나물과) Phedimus aizoon (L.) 't Hart

 길이가 긴 타원형의 잎을 가지고 있는 녀석으로 전초 크기가 큰데

비교적 고지가 높은 곳에서 보이는 녀석이다.

 

줄기는 보통 1~3대씩 나와 곧추서며, 높이 20~50cm 정도 자란다. 잎은 어긋나고 길이 3∼6cm, 좁은 피침형 또는 난상 도피침형으로 좁고 끝이 뾰족하며 불규칙하고 둔한 톱니가 있으며 단단하고 가죽질이다. 앞뒤에 모두 털이 없다.

 

가는기린초의 변종인 큰기린초Sedum aizoon var. latifolium Maxim. 가 있는데

줄기는 보통 1~3대씩 나고, 곧추서며, 높이 30~80cm다. 잎은 어긋나며, 넓은 도란형, 길이 2~7cm, 폭 3cm, 단단한 가죽질이다. 가장자리에 불규칙한 톱니가 있으며, 가는기린초에 비해 잎이 넓은 도란형인 점에서 구분된다.
