가는기린초(돌나물과 기린초속) Phedimus aizoon (L.) 't Hart

이 녀석은 유난히 키가 큰 기린초속 녀석이다. 

기린초속 녀석 중에서 키가 큰 녀석이 두 종 있다.

 

큰기린초는 높이 30~80cm다. 잎은 어긋나며, 넓은 도란형, 길이 2~7cm, 폭 3cm, 단단한 가죽질이다.  경기, 충북 진천, 충남 계룡산, 강원 설악산, 전남 진도, 함남 부전고원에 분포한다고 한다.

가는기린초는 높이 20~50cm 정도 자란다. 잎은 어긋나고 길이 3∼6cm, 좁은 피침형 또는 난상 도피침형이며, 단단하고 가죽질이다. 

잎이 좁은 장타원상 피침형으로 끝이 길게 뾰족한 형태로 봐서 가는기린초로 정리한다.
