병풀(산형과 병풀속) Centella asiatica (L.) Urb.

제주나 남부지역 습한 길바닥에 자란다

줄기가 옆으로 벋으면서 마디에서 뿌리가 내린다.  잎이 신장형으로 잎자루가 길다

 

 

화서 아래 퇴화된 비늘 잎이 있다.

 

 

적자색 꽃의 총포엽이 2개 열매가 익을 때 까지 끝까지 남아 있다

꽃잎 5개 수술 5개 암술은 2 개

 

 

 

 

잎 겨드랑이에서 나오는 꽃줄기에 산형꽃차례로 2~5개의 붉은 꽃이 핀다
