호장근(마디풀과 하수오속)

한라산에는 호장근이 무척 많이 보인다.

화경과 꽃받침이 붉은색인 붉은호장근도 함께 있는데 붉은호장근은 호장근에 통합되어서 이름을 잃어버렸다.

윗세오름 정상부 가까이 평원을 지나는 등산 테크 주변에는 나무들이 없어서 다양한 작은 풀들이 철엋이 꽃을 피워댄다.

같은 속으로 감절대란 녀석이 있는데 잎의 모양을 잘 살펴야 구분이 되는 녀석이다.

감절대의 엽저는 원형인데 호장근은 절저형이라 잎을 제대로 담아야 왈가왈부하지 않는다.

한라산의호장근이야 워낙 흔한 것이라 몇 번 담아 왔으니 잎 자료를 다시 담지 않았다.
