호장근(마디풀과 하수오속)

잎은 어긋나고 엽병이 있으며 길이 6-15cm로서 넓은 난형 또는 난상 타원형이고 짧은 점첨두이며 절저이고 톱니가 없다.

 

 

높이가 1m이상으로서 원줄기는 곧게 또는 비스듬히 자라며 거칠고 크다.

 줄기는 원주형으로 속이 비어 있고 어릴 때는 적자색 반점이 산포하며 마디에 원줄기를 둘러싼 탁엽이 있으나 탈락하기 쉽다.
