조릿대 밭에 종둥굴레가 무리지어 돋아나 있다.
작년에 이 곳에서 한 두포기 만나 적은 있지만 여긴 차를 타고 지나다녔기 때문에 발견하지 못했던 것 같다.
포는 막질이며 포의 맥과 가장자리는 무모이고 낙엽성이다. 소화경의 기부에 포가 달리며 피침형이고 꽃이 개화하면 시들기 시작한다.
화경은 1~2개의 소화경이 나온다. 화피는 통형으로 노란색이고 길이가 17.8~24.2mm이다.
화피열편은 개화시 완전히 반곡되어 화피의 바깥쪽에 붙으며 원형이다.
길이 11.6mm 정도의 뚜렷한 엽병이 있다.
줄기는 능각이 없고 높이 12.5~31.5cm이다.
