용둥굴레(백합과 둥굴레속) Polygonatum involucratum (Franch. & Sav.) Maxim.

포를 달고 있는 둥굴레 종류로. 용둥굴레,안면용둥굴레, 퉁둥굴레, 종둥굴레 등이 있다.

그 중에 용둥굴레는 포가 가장 넓은 녀석이다. 이 녀석은 키는 나지막하다.

 

꽃은 5-6월에 피고 엽액에 2개씩 달리며 백록색이고 길이 2.5cm로서 털이 없다.

화경은 길이 1-2cm로서 털이 없으며 끝이 2-3개의 포가 달리고 포는 길이 1.5-3cm, 폭 1-2.5cm로서 안에 2개의 꽃이 들어 있으며

소화경은 길이 2-4mm이다. 수술은 6개이고 수술대는 편평하고 잔돌기가 있으며 꽃밥보다 약간 길고 꽃밥은 길이 5mm이다.
