동의나물은 이름만 나물이지 독성이 있어서 식용으로 불가하다.
간혹 곰취 잎으로 오인하여 산채용으로 채취하는 경우가 있다는데 주의해야 한다.
질벅한 습지를 좋아하는 녀석을 담으려면 깔끔쟁이는 쉽지 않을 것이다.
