동강할미꽃(미나리아재비과)

2011. 4. 동강변.

 

내 일정 때문에 몇 차례 기회를 보내고 드뎌 동강의 고운 할매랑 신나게 보냈다.

이미 두 곳의 할미는 할매가 되어버렸다고 하는데, 마지막 강변의 할미가 그나마 늦은 방문을 반겨 준다.

 

동강할미꽃은 석회암 바위 벽에 자리를 잡아야만 제 색깔을 내고 동강 할매가 된다고 한다.

실제로 강 바닥 모래에 뿌리를 내린 할미꽃을 보았는데 그건 동강 할미곷이 아닌 그냥 할미꽃이었다.

그러니 욕심을 내어서 캐 가지 말기를 바란다. 굳이 한 포기 보유하고 싶다면 대량으로 길러서 파는 곳이 있단다.
