물석송(석송과 물석송속) Lycopodiella cernua (L.) Pic. Serm.

2017년 언론을 통해서 80년만에 국내 자생이 발견되었다고 언론에 발표되었던 녀석으로,

 습기가 많은 곳 또는 습지 주변에서 여러해살이풀로 자라는 상록성 남방계 양치식물이다.

 

이 곳은 다른 곳으로 개체수가 적지만 새롭게 확인이 된 자생지다.

희귀식물의 자생지가 여기 저기서 확인이 된다는 건 고무적인 일이다.

처음 발견된 자생지에 비하여 건조한 환경이라서 지속적인 모니터링이 필요할 것 같다.

 

환경이 좋지 않아서 그런가? 이 녀석들은 포자낭을 달지 못하였다.

 

개석송처럼 줄기가 벋어나가다가 뿌리를 내려서 개체를 번식시킨다.
