시골 집 마당에 민들레가 들어와 살고 있다.

흰민들레, 흰노랑민들레, 붉은씨서양민들레, 서양민들레다

 

집주인이 집을 나가 버리니 지가 주인 행세를 하고 집을 지키고 있다.

 

여태 잎의 모양에 대하여 제대로 관찰을 하지 않아서 차이점을 몰랐더랬는데

올봄에 꽃이 피기 전에 근생엽을 보면서 잎의 모양을 유심히 들여다 봤더니 확연히 차이가 난다.

 

아래 정리한 자료는 대체적인 경향성으로 민들레속 종들의 잎 변이 폭이 넓다는 걸 전제하고 참고해야 한다.

 

1. 서양민들레이다

잎의 열편이 깔끔하고 열편의 수도 적다.

측열편은 약간 아래쪽으로 휘어쳐 있는데날카롭지 않고, 정열편은 끝이 대부분 둔한 삼각상이다.

 

2. 붉은씨서양민들레

서양민들레보다 잎의 열편이 많이 발달하고 좁은 삼각상으로 더 날카롭고 아래쪽으로 더 많이 휘어진 경향이 있다.

서양은 측열편에 톱니가 없지만 붉은씨는 측열편에 불규칙한 작은 톱니들이 발달한다.

정열편은 서양과 달리  끝이 날카롭고 뾰족한 삼각형이다.

 

 

3. 흰민들레(흰노랑민들레)

서양민들레처럼 측열편이 많이 갈라지지만 매우 불규칙하며 결각성 톱니가 많이 나타난다

측열편은 날카롭지는 않고 대체로 둔하며 붉은씨서양민들레보다 아래로 휘어짐이 약하다.
