큰별꽃(석죽과 별꽃속)

꽃이 하도 커서 처음엔 왕별꽃인가 했더니 왕별꽃은 꽃잎이 실처럼 갈라지는 모습이라 그도 아니었다.

꽃잎의 모습과 마주나는 잎으로 점나도나물속 녀석으로 생각하고 정체를 찾았더니

점나도나물속은 꽃잎의 끝부분이 약간 갈라져 있는데 이 녀석은 완벽하게 2개로 갈라져 있어서 점나도쪽은 아니다.

결국 별꽃속에서 찾아내었다. 큰별꽃이었다.

 

별꽃에 비해 잎이 크고 양면 잎맥 위에 부드러운 털이 있으며, 꽃잎이 꽃받침보다 길어 구분된다.

 

 

 

 

 

꽃밥이 흰색이다.

 

 

꽃잎은 5개, 꽃받침잎보다 1.5배쯤 길며, 끝은 얕게 2갈래로 갈라진다.

꽃받침잎은 난형으로 길이 4~6mm, 끝은 둔하며, 가장자리는 막질이다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 마주나며, 난형 또는 난상 긴 타원형으로 끝은 길게 뾰족하고,

가장자리에 짧은 털이 있으며 양면 잎맥에 부드러운 털이 있다.  

 

 

화경, 줄기, 잎가장자리에 선모가 많이 보인다

 

 

 

 

 

 

줄기 아래쪽 잎은 짧은 엽병이 있다
