울릉도와 제주도, 남부지방 일부에서 자생하는 녀석이다
소화경과 꽃받침에 누운 털이 있다.
꽃은 8월에 황색으로 피며 줄기나 가지 끝에 3-4개 달린다.
꽃받침잎은 5개이고 꽃이 필 때 뒤로 젖혀지며 타원형이고 길이 2.5-4mm로서 뒷면에 털이 있으며 기부에 꿀샘이 있다
납작한 수과 열매는 털개구리미나리보다 엉성하게 달리고 고부라진 암술대가 남아 있다.
근생엽은 엽병이 길며 3출복엽이고 소엽은 엽병이 다소 길며 난형이고 3개로 깊게 갈라진다.
열편은 불규칙한 톱니가 있으며 양면에 복모가 있고 경생엽은 엽병이 짧으며 3출복엽이고 윗부분의 것이 단순히 3개로 갈라진다.
