자란초(꿀풀과)

 어쩌다 개화 시기를 맞추지 못하여 이렇게 만개를 한 모습은 처음 만난다.

뿌리줄기로 벋어나가면서 개체 번식이 되어서 군락을 이루며 사는 모습이 장관이다.

 

꽃은 6월에 피며 짙은 자주색이고 줄기 끝 또는 엽액에 길이 3cm정도의 총상화서로 밀칙하여 달린다.

꽃받침통은 도란형이고 10맥이 있으며 길이 2.5mm정도로서 털이 다소 있고 열편은 선형이며

길이 5mm로서 3맥이 있고 화관은 짙은 자주색이며 통부는 길이 15mm로서 위로 갈수록 넓어진다.

 

 

 

잎은 대생하고 밑부분의 것은 작으며 위로 갈수록 커지고 넓은 타원형이며 큰 것은 길이 17cm, 나비 9cm로서 끝이 길게 뾰족해지고 표면과 뒷면 맥 위에 털이 약간 있으며 가장자리에 불규칙한 톱니와 털이 나 있고 밑부분이 좁아져서 엽병으로 흐른다.
