금불초/버들금불초/가는금불초/전의(가는)금불초/가지금불초/갯금불초

국화과는 설상화와 통상화 총포의 포편 모양을 자세하게 익혀 두면 어느 정도 구분하기 쉽다

금불초속 녀석들도 설상화의 길이와 총포 모양은 중요한 구분 점이 된다. 물론 잎의 형태에서도 차이점이 있긴 하지만.

 

<금불초>

버들금불초에 비하여 전초에 누운 털이 약간 있고 엽질이 얇다.

총포의 포편이 선상 피침형으로 5줄로 배열하고

잎은 넓은 피침형 또는 장타원형으로 뒷면 잎맥이 도드라지지 않으며 잎 끝이 뾰족하고 밑은 갑자기 좁아져서 줄기를 감싼다  

 

 

<버들금불초> 

꽃의 크기는 금불초와 비슷하다. 포엽이 있으며 관모는 8mm로 금불초속 중에서 가장 길다

포편의 모양이 금불초와 다른데 포편 4줄 외포편 넓은 피침형으로 가장자리에 털이 있고 내포편은 선형으로 길게 뾰족하다

 

 

<가는금불초> 

꽃의 크기는 금불초보다 작고 관모도 3mm로 매우 짧다.

포편은 금불초와 비슷한 선상 피침형으로 4줄로 배열하며

잎의 나비는 1cm 정도로 전의금불초와 비슷하고 잎 뒷면에 복모가 있고 가장자리가 뒤로 말린다.

 

 

<전의금불초> => 가는금불초이명으로 처리 됨

충남 연기군 전의마을에서 처음 발견되었다고 하는 녀석으로 두화 지름에 비하여 설상화가 유난히 짧은 특징을 가지고 있다.

총포의 포편은 피침형으로 짧으며 4배열 한다. 잎의 모양은 가는금불초와 비슷하다.

가는금불초와 전의금불초를 두고 판단하기 어려운 개체를 만날 때가 있어서 정리가 애매한 경우가 있다.

 

 

<가지금불초> 

금불초와 가장 유사한데 가지를 많이 분지하고 지름 3-4cm로서 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝에 달려 전체가 산방상으로 포린은 5줄로 배열되고 거의 같은 길이이며 바깥 것은 피침형이고 안쪽 것은 좁으며 모두 가장자리에 털이 있다

 

 

<갯금불초> 

제주도 해안에 자생하는 녀석으로 잎이 두꺼운 육질로 거센 짧은 털이 있다.

금불초 : 지름 3~4cm   관모 5mm	금불초 : 선형의 총포가 5줄로 배열
버들금불초 : 지름 4cm. 관모 8mm, 포엽이 있다.	버들금불초 : 포편 4줄 외포편 넓은 피침형, 가장자리에 털, 내포편은 선형
가는금불초 : 지름 1.8~2.5cm 관모 3mm	가는금불초 : 포편 4배열, 선상 피침형 끝 뾰족 선점 있음
가는(전의)금불초 : 관모 3mm. 설상화는 금불초의 1/2로 매우 짧다	가는(전의)금불초 : 피침형 4배열
가지금불초 : 지름 3-4cm 관모 5mm, 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝에 전체가 산방상	가지금불초 : 포편 5배열 거의 같은 길이 피침형, 가장자리에 털 있음

<잎 비교>

금불초 : 넓은 피침형 또는 장타원형,잎 끝이 뾰족하고 엽질이 얇다.	금불초 : 잎 뒷면 맥이 도드라지지 않음
버들금불초 :표면은 윤채가 있으나 약간 거칠고 가장자리 점같은 톱니와 털	버들금불초 : 잎맥이 도드라지며 맥 위에 털이 있음
가는금불초 : 선상 피침형 또는 선형이고 끝이 뾰족. 나비10mm 미만	가는금불초 : 가장자리 뒤로 말림, 잎 뒷면에는 복모가 있다.
그는(전의)금불초 : 잎이 좁다	가는(전의)금불초 : 잎 뒷면에 복모
가지금불초 : 피침형 긴 타원형 가장자리가 밋밋함	가지금불초 : 양면에 복모가 있고 군데 도드라진 점, 잎맥이 도드라짐
갯금불초 : 난형 끝이 둔하고 질이 두꺼움, 짧고 굳센 털, 표면은 녹색 윤채	갯금불초 : 3맥이 있고 가장자리의 상반부에 2~3쌍의 톱니가 있음
