말오줌때(고추나무과)

이 녀석이 고추나무과 라는 건 의외이다.

붉은 열매껍질 속에 까만 종자가 2개 새앙쥐 눈처럼 반짝인다.

바람이 불고 비가 뿌려서 우의를 덮어 쓰고 수목원을 살피는데 잠깐 해가 난다.

 

 

열매는 골돌과로 1-3개씩 달리고 꼬부라진 타원형이며 예두이고 길이 1.5-2cm로 8-9월에 익으며 세로맥이 있고

겉은 붉은빛이 돌며 안쪽은 밝은 홍색이다. 종자는 흑색 윤채가 있고 둥글며 지름 5-6mm이다.

 

 

 

잎은 대생하고  5-11개의 소엽으로 구성된 기수1회우상복엽으로서 엽병과 더불어 길이 25cm이며 

소엽은 피침상 난형 또는 난형이며 점첨두이고 넓은 예저 또는 원저이며 길이 4-8cm, 너비 2-4cm로서

가장자리에 예리한 잔 톱니가 있고 표면은 짙은녹색이며 털이 없고 뒷면 중륵 기부 근처에 흔히 백색 털이 있다

 

 

 

높이가 3m에 달하고 가지는 굵으며 털이 없고 수피는 녹갈색이며 둥글다. 가지를 꺾으면 악취가 난다.
