금불초/버들금불초/가는(전의)금불초 비교

 가장 쉬운 구분 포인트는 혀꽃의 길이와 총포편의 형태를 보면 된다.

 

금불초	버들금불초	가는(전의)금불초
두화는 지름 3~4cm, 총포는 반구형이고 포편은 5열로 배열하고 가장자리에 털이 있다.  포편은 선형으로 끝이 뾰족하다.	두화는 지름 4cm, 설상화는 길이 9mm, 총포는 반구형, 길이 1cm, 지름 2cm, 총포편은 4줄 외포편은 넓은 피침형이고 예두이며 가장자리에 털이 있고 내포편은 선형이며 길게 뾰족해진다. 포엽이 있다.	설상화가 매우 짧아서 두화 지름이 크다. 포엽이 없고 총포편이 좁은 피침형으로 4열. 포엽이 없다.
