솔새/개솔새(벼과)

<솔새>

 

초등학교에 다니던 시절 가을이면 솔새 열매를 따러 산자락을 쏘댕겼다. 학교에 제출해야 했기 때문이다.

여름방학 숙제로 잔디 씨앗도 모으곤 했었는데 아마도 그 때는 헐벗은 산이 많아서 씨앗을 뿌리려고 모은 게 아니었던가 생각된다.
