눈범꼬리(마디풀과 범꼬리속) Bistorta suffulta (Maxim.) Greene ex H.Gross

한라산에 자생하는 작은 범꼬리 종류로 눈벙꼬리와 이른범꼬리가 있다.

둘 다 화서나 잎 모양이 비슷하여 구분이 쉽지 않은 것 같다.

경생엽이 있는지 근생엽만 있는지로 구분이 된다.

 

눈범꼬리:근생엽 경생엽이 있고 엽액에서도 화서가 자란다.

이른범꼬리 : 근생엽만 있다.(화서에 1~2개의 잎이 있다)

 

 

 

 

근생엽은 엽병이 길고 넓은 난형으로 길이가 5-10cm, 폭 3-7cm이며 끝은 뾰족하고 밑은 심장저이며 경생엽은 난상 심장형으로서 원줄기를 감싼다.
