노루발(진달래과 노루발속) Pyrola japonica Klenze ex Alef.

노루발과 다년초다.

매화노루발과 이름도 비슷하고 꽃피는 시기와 전초의 크기도 비슷하여 헷갈리게 하는 녀석이다.

고개 숙인 모양새나 뒤태 까지도 비슷한데 노루발은 암술대가 길게 빠져 나와 있다.

 

 5~6월에 뭉쳐난 잎들 사이에서 꽃자루가 길게 나와 5~12송이의 꽃이 피며 꽃자루의 길이는 20㎝ 정도이다.

꽃은 하얀색으로 땅을 보며 피는데, 암술이 길게 나와 끝이 위로 젖혀져 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

뿌리에서 뭉쳐나는 잎들은 둥글거나 넓은 타원형이며 긴 잎자루를 지닌다.
