이 삼복 더위에 털모자 패션으로 튀려고 하는 속단은

1300고지 시원한 산바람이 가을인 줄 아는 모양인가?

산속단이란 녀석이 있는데 산속단은 좀 짜박한 느낌을 주는 녀석으로 말로 설명해도 구분이 안된다.

꿀풀과 다년초로 높이가 1m에 달하며 곧게 서고 네모지며 전체에 잔털이 있다.

잎은 마주나고 엽병이 길며 심장상 난형이고 끝이 뾰족하며 심장저 또는 원저이다.

 큰 것은 길이 13cm, 나비 10cm 또는 그 이상되는 것도 있으나 위로 갈면서 작아지며

뒷면에 잔털이 있고 가장자리에 둔하고 규칙적인 톱니가 있다.

 

꽃은 7월에 피며 붉은빛이 돌고 윤산화서는 원줄기 윗부분에서 대생하여 전체가 큰 원추화서로 되며

각 소화서는 잎겨드랑이에서 대생하고 다시 분지 위에서 소화경이 대생하여 각각 4-5개의 꽃이 달린다.

꽃받침은 통형이며 길이 8mm정도이고 열편은 털 같은 돌기로 되며 잔털이 약간 있고

화관은 순형이며 길이 1.8cm정도이고 상순은 모자형으로서 겉에 우단같은 털이 밀생하며

하순은 3개로 갈라져서 퍼지고 겉에 털이 있다.
