Koidz. 2022. 10. 8-10. 남도 여기 저기.. 남도 들판을 지나다니다가 붉은색이 강한 벼과 녀석을 두고 정체를 몰라서 혼란을 겪었다. 진퍼리새가 가득한 습지 주변에사도 보이고 논주변 산지나 제방에서도 보이는데 처음에는 새가 아닐까도 생각하였다. 헌데 너무 붉은색을 띠고 있는 데다가 전에 보던 새와는 좀 달라보이길래 새는 아닌 것 같다고 했는데 결국 채집해 온 이삭을 도감과 맞춰 본 결과 역시 새라고 결론을 내렸다. 벼과 사초과 도감에는 털새가 새의 변종인데, 국가표준식물목록에는 새가 털새의 변종으로 되어 있다 또 속의 표기도 새속, 털새속 으로 다르게(학명에 따라 당연히) 기록되어 있다 국가표준식물목록에 따라 정리한다. 털새 : Arundinella hirta (Thunb.)
