개새비나무(마편초과 작살나무속) Callicarpa × shiraswana Makino

이 녀석은 잎 끝이 길게 빠지고 털이 거의 없어서 작살나무가 아닐까 했는데

그렇다고 작살나무로 보기에는 성모가 다소 약하게 나타난다.

확인해 보니 새비나무와 작살나무의 교잡종인 개새비나무가 있었다. 

 

작살나무에 비해 잎 양면에 샘점이 있고, 새비나무에 비해 꽃받침이 얕게 갈라지며, 털이 거의 없는 특징으로 구분한다

전라남도에 나며 일본에도 분포한다.

 

꽃받침이 얕게 갈라진다.

 

어린 가지에는 별 모양의 털이 많지만, 2년생 이상의 가지에는 털이 성글게 난다.

잎은 마주나며, 난형 또는 긴 타원형으로 끝은 점차 뾰족해진다.
