범꼬리(마디풀과 범꼬리속) Bistorta officinalis Delarbre subsp. japonica (H.Hara) Yonek.

소백산을 몇 번 올라보지는 않았지만 비로사에서 소백산을 오르기는 20년이 넘었을 것 같다. 

무릎과 발목이 온전하지 않아서 3.7km를 오르는데 3시간이나 걸렸다.

출발부터 도착까지 느린 걸음으로 꾸준하게 올라서 그나마 비로봉을 밟을 수 있었던 거 같다.

 

날씨는 근래 보기 드물게 쾌청하여 시야가 아주 시원하게 드러났다.

소백산은 비로봉을 중심으로 능선에 나무가 거의 없어서 고산의 초원이 멋진 풍광을 이루었다.
