산자락 아래 물이 칩칩하게 스며 나오는 곳에 물달개비며 골풀속, 방동사니속 녀석들이 꽤 있었던
오래 전의 기억을 가지고 골짜기 마을을 찾았다.
마을은 새로운 전원주택이며 넓게 닦여진 길들로 전혀 새로운 환경이 되어 버려서 기대를 하지 않았는데
쓰레기로 덮여진 습한 곳에 들어서서 긴 풀들을 젖히니까 줄기가 납작한 날개골풀 식구가 반겨준다 .
별날개골풀과 참날비녀골풀을 두고 한동안 저울질을 했는데
이 녀석은 열매 길이가 서서히 좁아지는 가는 형의 삭과이고 화피편 길이 보다 훨씬 길다.
열매가 달린 형태도 둥근 공처럼 방사상으로 달리는 모습에 가까워서 별날개골풀로 동정한다.
이 녀석은 특이하게도 꽃차례에서 싹이 나는 모습도 보였는데....참비녀골풀도 그런 경우가 있다던데......
그래도 참비녀골풀은 열매 길이와 화피편의 길이가 비슷하여서 구분이 된다
