미국풀솜나물(국화과)

제주는 귀화식물의 천국이다.

이 녀석도 제주 길바닥에서 흔하게 보이는 귀화식물이다. 잎이 주걱형으로 가장자리가 물결성을 이룬다.

이 녀석 솜다리속인줄 알았더니 떡쑥속이다.

 

 

잎은 주걱형이며 길이 3-6㎝, 나비 5-10㎜로 끝이 원두이다. 잎의 표면은 털이 적으며 오래된 것은 거의 털이 없고, 뒷면은 우단처럼 긴 솜털이 밀포되어 흰색을 띤다.

 

 

식물체 전체가 긴 백색의 솜털로 덮여 있다. 줄기는 높이 20-40㎝이며 기부에서 가지를 치고 곧게 자란다.
