말발도리(수국과 말발도리속) Deutzia parviflora Bunge

물참대와 말발도리는 꽃 피는 시기도 같고 꽃도 비슷하여 헷갈려들 한다.

 

물참대는 잎 앞에 약간의 성모가 있기도 하나 뒷면에는 털이 전혀 없고,

말발도리는 잎 앞 뒷면, 잎자루에 성모가 많아서 만지면 바삭바삭한 촉감을 준이다.

꽃술을 보면 물참대의 수술은 꽃밥을 정점으로 긴 세모 모양이고, 말발도리는 긴사각형 모양으로 수술대 모양이 다르다.

 수술대가 꽃밥과 함께 사격 표적처럼 생겼다. ㅎ

 

 

 

꽃밥과 꽃속에 노란색이 강하다. 꽃은 지름 12mm정도로서 백색이며 성모가 있고 산방화서에 달리며

꽃받침은 통형이고 끝이 5개로 갈라지며 꽃잎도 5개로 갈라진다.

수술은 10개이고 수술대는 거의 톱니가 없으며 암술대는 3갈래이고 화반(花盤)에 성모가 있다. 

 

 

 

 

높이가 2m에 달하고 소지는 녹갈색 또는 녹색이며 성모가 있고 늙은 가지는 흑회색이다. 

 

 

 

 

잎은 마주나기이고 5개로 갈라진 성모가 있으며 가장자리에 잔톱니가 있고 어린 가지의 엽병도 길이 3-12mm로서 성모가 있다.

 

 

잎 뒷쪽에도 짧은 털이 있다.
