가는끈끈이장구채(석죽과 끈끈이장구채속) Silene antirrhina L.

2025. 5. 12.-13. 동네.

 

이 녀석은 하천 주변에 퍼지고 있는 외래식물이다. 헌데 우리 동네에는 도로변에 퍼지고 있다.

 

작년에 도로변을 뒤지다가 발견하고
어라? 이 녀석이 웬일로 우리 동네에? 하고 반가웠더랬다.
대구까지 가지 않아도 되기 때문에. ㅎ

 

한참이나 늦은 시기에 생각이 나서 찾았더니 이미 거의 결실을 하고 있다.

개화하는 꽃을 찾지 못하고 겨우 온전하게 핀 한 송이를 데불고 갖은 아양을 다떨었다.

 

녀석은 달맞이꽃 흉내를 내려는지  6시가 넘은 시각에 꽃을 피워서 아침에 꽃잎을 접는다.

그래서 저녁 때가 다 되어서야 촬영이 가능하다.

7시 가까운 시각에 촬영을 했는데, 다음 날 아침에 5시 40분에 다시 찾았다.

혹시다 더 폈을까 했더니 어제 저녁 때와 별반 다른 점이 안 보인다.

 

끈끈이장구채는 7-8월에 꽃을 피우지만 이 녀석은 5월에 개화를 한다.

개화 시 수술이 꽃받침 밖으로 드러나지 않고, 종자 표면에 주름이 있는 끈끈이장구채에 비하여 이 녀석은 종자 표면에 유두 모양의 돌기가 있다.

 

 

개화 시가 되면 줄기에 선점이 나타난다.
