아욱메풀(메꽃과 아욱메풀속) 열매 Dichondra micrantha Urb.

2017. 7. 초순.

 

제주도 이외의 남도의 섬에서 아욱메풀 보기는 처음이라 더 반가웠던 녀석이다.

벌써 쌍방울 모양의 열매가 다 익었다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

보통 포복지에 뿌리를 달거나나 뿌리줄기로 개체 번식을 하는 경우 결실에 욕심을 내지 않는데

이 녀석은 줄기 마기마다 뿌리를 내려서 개체를 번식시키면서도 이렇게 열심히 또 열매를 달고 있다.
