새며느리밥풀(현삼과 꽃며느리밥풀속) Melampyrum setaceum var. nakaianum (Tuyama) T. Yamaz.

비교적 높은 산지에 분포하는 녀석으로

잎이 좁은 피침형에 포는 난형으로 긴 가시돌기가 많이 달린다.

잎	넓은형(좁은 난형) 피침형,난상피침형	넓은형(난형, 좁은난형) 길이 3~6cm,  폭 1.5~3.0cm	넓은형(난형, 넓은 피침형)	좁은형(피침형) 길이 6-7cm 폭 1-2cm 애기며느리밥풀에 비해서 잎은 피침형 또는 넓은 피침형으로 폭이 넓다	좁은형(선형) 길이1.5~8cm, 폭 0.2~1.3cm 새며느리밥풀에 비해서 좁은 피침형 또는 넓은 선형으로서 더욱 가늘다
줄기	네모,  짧은 털	네모, 굽은 흰털	네모, 긴털 밀생	네모, 굽은털	네모, 잔털이 흩어짐
꽃	알며느리보다 엉성하게 달림, 화축에 털이 적음, 꽃받침은 좁은 삼각형,추상 삼각형	꽃며느리보다 조밀하게 달림, 화축과 꽃받침에 털이 적음, 꽃받침은 좁은 점첨두, 미상으로 길게 뾰족	꽃받침 열편이 길게 뾰족하고 화축과 함께 긴털이 많음	꽃며느리보다 조밀하게 달림	짧은 밀집형
포엽	일부 아래쪽에만 가시 있음(잎모양)	포의 돌기가 길고 많음 (잎모양)	가시같은 돌기(선상피침형) 양면 짧은 털	긴 가시가 많이 달림(도란형)	붉은색,가시같은 돌기(삼각상피침형)
서식지	전국산지 숲 가장자리	전국산지 숲 가장자리	남부지역(전라,경상,충남해안) 산기슭	강원,전라,경북 높은 산지	전국 낮은 산지 군락으로 서식
