몽울토현삼(현삼과 현삼속) Scrophularia cephalantha Nakai

장소 정보를 준 꽃동무가 누군가 큰 개체를 납치해 가 버렸다고 속상해 했는데
어린 개체들이 계속 드문드문 나타나고 꽤 많은 개체들이 숲 가장자리에 보여서 안심을 했다.
멀리 혼자 서 있는 작은 녀석을 보고 표본 1점 채집을 하는데 손이 오그라 들 정도로 얼마나 미안하던지..
공무를 수행하니 할 수 없지만 흔하지 않은 녀석들을 채집하려면 정말 곤혹스럽다.
서너발짝 떨어진 자리의 큰개현삼은 아직 잎새 너댓장을 달고 있는 초록이지만
이 녀석은 봄이 무르익는 5월에 꽃을 피우며 화서가 줄기 끝에 정생하고 꽃차례가 짧고 키가 작은 특징을 가지고 있는 녀석이다.

| 큰개현삼 근연분류군인 좀현삼, 일월토현삼, 몽울토현삼에 대한 원기재문과 기준표본을 근거로 외부형태학적 연구를 수행 큰개현삼 : 개화가 7~9월이며 줄기에 7개 이상의 마디를 가지고, 화서는 정단과 엽액에서 발생하고 몽울토현삼: 개화가 5~6월이며 줄기에 3~6개의 마디를 가지고, 화서는 정단에만 짧게 발달한다. 변이 폭이 큰 큰개현삼 집단과 달리 좀현삼은 모두 소형화된 집단을 유지하기에 현재의 분류계급을 유지하는 것이 타당하다. 일월토현삼 : 액생화서, 줄기, 잎의 흰털이 주요 식별 형질로 알려져 왔으나 이 형질이 큰개현삼의 형질 변이 폭 내에 포함되어 큰개현삼의 이명으로 처리한다. |
