의성개나리(물푸레나무과 개나리속) Forsythia viridissima 'Bronxensis'

이 산 습지가 있는 주변에 군청에서 의성개나리를 마구 심어 놓았다. 뭐 공원화라나?
연산홍도 많이 심어 두었더랬는데 습지 환경에 맞지 않는 연산홍은 거의 죽어 버렸고 참나무 사이에 의성개나리만 살아 남아 있다.
땅귀개와 이삭귀개, 개잠자리난초, 께묵, 꽃창포 등의 주요 식물들이 자생하고 있는 습지가
얼마나 중요한 식물상의 귀한 환경인지 전혀 모르는 무식한 발상을 하고 있는 공무원들.
한 술 더 떠서 활공장으로 허가를 받은 업체에서는 산 중간에 물탱크를 설치해서
습지로 들어오는 수량을 탈취해 가서 점점 습지 면적이 줄어 들고 있다.
기후 변화로 개나리가 가을에도 꽃을 피우는 현상은 이미 낯설지 않은 일이 되었다.
