대마도식물 -뿌리땅빈대(대극과 대극속) Euphorbia makinoi Hayata

부두 주변을 탐색하다가 생소한 땅빈대속 녀석을 만났다.

전초에 붉은기운이 강하고 잎이 누운땅빈대나 애기땅빈대보다 더 작다. 

전초에 털이 전혀 없고 줄기가 바닥에 납작하게 붙어서 사방으로 퍼지고 있는 모습이다.

 

얼마 전에 땅빈대속에 미기록종이 보고된 녀석이 있는데 전초에 털이 전혀 없고

줄기 마디에서 뿌리를 내리는 특징이 있는 뿌리땅빈대라는 녀석이 있다.

그 학명으로 확인을 하니 결국 뿌리땅빈대였다. 아직 국내에서도 만나보지 못했던 녀석을 일본에서 만났다.

 

국내에 유입된 개체의 선체는 백색을 띠고 있는데 이 녀석은 약간 붉은색을 띠고 있다.

 

이 녀석의 원산지는 중국 남동부, 난세이 쇼토, 필리핀 대만인 아열대 생물 군계에 자생하는데,

일본은 자생이 아니라 유입된 외래종이다.
