몽골에서도 흔하게 만난 적이 있는데 인접한 중국 내몽골에서도 분포하고 있었다.

국내에 분포하지 않고 북부지방에는 분포한다고 한다.

잔잎산비장이 Klasea centauroides (L.) Cass. subsp. komarovii (Iljin) L.Martins

산비장이가 두상화 가장자리의 관모양꽃은 암꽃인 데 비해 잔잎산비장이는 모두 양성꽃이다. 

뿌리잎은 잎자루가 있으며 잎몸은 타원형으로 깃꼴로 완전하게 깊게 갈라진다.

 

모스크바대학의 표본이다. 표본의 학명이 Serratula komarovii 으로 기재되어 있다.

 한반도 북부지방에 자생하며, 몽골, 러시아 동부, 중국 동북부 등에 분포한다.
