대마도식물 -조구등(釣鉤藤, 꼭두서니과) 열매 Uncaria rhynchophylla (Miq.) Miq.

덩굴 식물로 중국명으로 조구등(釣鉤藤),  조등(釣藤)이라고도 한다.

원산지는 중국 중남부, 남동부, 베트남, 대만, 중남 및 일본까지다.  주로 아열대 생물 군계에서 자란다.

줄기 잎사이에 낚시바늘처럼 생긴 탁엽이 발달하여 중국명으로 낚시바늘덩굴이라는 뜻을 가지고 있다.
