아 맞다!. 애기장구채가 꽃을 피울텐데........
큰괭이밥 종자 때문에 산에 들렀다가 주차를 하면서 갑자기 이 녀석이 생각났다.
역시 녀석이 꽃을 피우고 있었다.
예년 같으면 좀 늦었지만 올해 몇번이나 곤두박질을 하던 한 봄 날씨 덕분에 이제사 개화 적기가 된 것이다.
이 녀석은 고집이 보통이 아니다.
발 아래 거름기 좋은 흙바닥이 있어도 굳이 마다하고 바위 틈을 고집한다.
분명 씨알이 바닥에도 떨어졌을 테지만 이 녀석이 흙바닥에서 자라서 꽃을 피우는 모습을 본 적이 없다.
척박한 환경인 바위 틈에 자리 잡고서 가뭄에 비실거리면서도 바위를 껴안고 살아간다.
올해는 4월에 비가 자주 와 주어서 가지도 많이 벌고 꽃을 많이 피웠다.
그래~~! 니가 좋아하면 됐지 뭐,
매년 잘 살아 줘서 고맙다.
