대설산식물 - 고산나도철쭉(진달래과 로이셀레우리아속) Loiseleuria procumbens (L) Desb.

정상에서 산장으로 가는 능선부 암릉지대는 키 작은 진달래과 녀석들이

바위 틈 지표면에 바짝 붙어서 다양한 모습으로 꽃을 피우고 있었다.

 

이 녀석은 자잘한 별꽃처럼 아주 작은 꽃을 피우는데 무척 귀여운 모습을 하고 있었다.

일본명 미네즈오우 ミネズオウ , 학명 Loiseleuria procumbens 로 북해도와 혼슈 중북부 고산 암석지대에 자생하는 상록관목이다. 높이 10~15cm 의 상록관목으로 가는 줄기가 땅을 기며 퍼지고 잎이 조밀하게 달린다. 

꽃은 가지 끝에 산형상으로 모여 핀다. 

 

북반구의 아북극 지역과 높은 산에서 흔히 볼 수 있다.

북아메리카에서는 메인, 뉴햄프셔, 뉴욕, 워싱턴 산맥에 있는 범위의 남쪽 한계에 도달한다.
